Brownsville is Starbase's host city. The airport, the deepwater port and the local industrial base all now serve the launch site directly, and the customs infrastructure at the border crossing handles high-value manufactured goods daily.

Cargo leaving Brownsville for orbit consolidates at Brownsville South Padre Island (BRO). From there it routes to Boca Chica Starbase. Thirty minutes east on SR-4.
